HolterMedia was started in 2008 by Pete Holtermann and provides sports media relations with an emphasis on social media. The scope of work also includes event management and television production.

Holtermann, a Milwaukee native, moved to Cincinnati to attend Xavier University. While working toward his degree, he was heavily involved in media both on campus and in the city of Cincinnati. Upon graduating, he worked as a freelance journalist in Cincinnati for several years.

He was then hired as Assistant Sports Information Director at Xavier, serving as the primary contact for a handful of sports, including women’s basketball, and working as a secondary contact on many other sports, including the men’s basketball program. His time at Xavier included runs to the final eight in the NCAA basketball tournaments for both the women’s (2001) and men’s (2004) programs.

After that 2004 season, Holtermann joined the ATP World Tour where he worked as a senior manager of media and marketing operations. After nearly 10 years working in the pressroom of the Western & Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati, the transition to tennis was seamless. In nearly five years with the Tour, he worked at tournaments worldwide handling media relations, marketing and player appearances.

HolterMedia strives to provide world class service for its clients. That starts with gaining a complete understanding of the client, and then working with the client to not only meet their needs, but find new and creative ways to grow.
